From furniture to Pearls
In the course of my travels, sourcing, importing & retailing furniture, I began to collect women‘s accessories as an added attraction for clients browsing for large ticket idems. An eclectic assortment of bags, scarves & jewellery added a visually appealing element to the shop’s dispay & became a destination for clients in search of something different. This collection was later the core of the wholesale business that ensued, being further refined during Covid to just pearl jewellery.

Our pearls are sourced with a deep understanding of the local market, aiming to offer beautiful yet affordable pieces to every woman who shares our passion for Pearls.
Our pearl jewellery is handcrafted in New Zealand, using traditional knotting techniques that safeguard the integrity of the pearl, maximise movement & ensure the safety of the pearls, should an accident occur.
Our special touch lies in the ability to cater for the diverse preferences of our customers.
Crafting beauty for New Zealand women
The arrival of the Coronavirus & the difficulties this presented for importing & sourcing, presented a new challenge.... & opportunity. The solution was obvious. I had to start making my own jewellery thereby gaining the ability to customise the range to suit the physical size & tastes of New Zealand women. No longer was there just one length of necklace. Clients could have a choice in how they wanted to present themselves.
This pivotal moment allowed Pearl Luxe to truly blossom, catering for the diverse New Zealand market.
